Golden State Humane Society is a nonprofit focused on providing affordable veterinary care to our underserved communities.
Our Southern California clinics, located in Garden Grove and Long Beach, provide families affordable spay, neuter, vaccine, and primary veterinary care for their animal companions. Thanks to our dedicated and highly qualified staff, we serve over 100 cats and dogs per day.
Unfortunately, our Garden Grove clinic, while still open and offering vaccination and primary veterinary services, had to close its surgery suite in 2019. This closure has disrupted our community, as we are unable to provide the nearly 10,000 low-cost spay and neuter procedures a year that are normally performed.
We are fundraising to rebuild our Garden Grove surgical suite, which will allow us to operate at full capacity once again. Our goal is $30,000.
Our surgical suite needs major renovations. Flooring enhancements, lighting upgrades, and other building amenities will allow for the highest level of patient care that our clients expect from us. We also need to modernize essential equipment, including sterilizers, which are critical to successful patient treatment.
This Giving Season we are asking for your help, so we can get back to our purpose: serve financially challenged clients who may not have the resources to provide birth control or essential care to their companion dogs and cats.
Having a healthy pet is everything. If you can, please donate so that all our furry friends get the affordable care they need locally, especially now in this time of crisis.
When you support Golden State Humane Society, you help build your community to be a better place!
